Thanks descalzo. After much more research and messing around I discovered that there already is a newer version of CMS Made Simple which more or less works with PHP 5.3. I've installed the new version now and all seems to be working again.

My website (www.friernbadminton.x10.mx) is made with a content management system 'CMS Made Simple'. The site has been working fine but now I find it full of "Deprecated: Function..." error messages. Turns out that CMS Made Simple does not support PHP 5.3, it requires 5.2 or lower. I assume...
