    Folding@Home

As for figuring out points, I just figured it out - http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fahproject and put in the project number indicated (in my case I had to go to the log to find it). For project 5750 (one I'm on right now) it's 511 points.

Find the index filename and Win 500 credits/points

Other than brute-force trying every single possible combination, not that I can see - I disabled javascript and could view the source of the included ajax javascript file (you may wanna look for a way to disable that from happening, not sure exactly -how- to go about that though), but there's...

    Designs that appeal to you

I like shiny, I just don't like to code it - shiny generally has a lot of extra doo-dads on it that make things a bit nastier to code :) For coding, all div's and text. Easiest to code although it shows that too - there's virtually no effort in an all-text page.

AMD Athlon 64 x2 3.0ghz (which takes like 5 days to do 1 WU >_<) For the gpu though, I just found myself an alternate use for an nVidia 8800GT - F@H :) Seems GPU's are better at most of the types of calculations Folding@Home needs to do; obviously it sucks with some of them, but if it's...

Anyone else do this? I found x10's team from back in 2008 here: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=130950 Ended up joining the team and beating out everyone in one night - F@H added a "GPU2" client at some point, and from my own experiences it beats out their...

    Horrible

I've tried two or three times to make a good no-anger reply to this, but I'm finding it difficult so I'll put it this way: Artic: 99.9% uptime if not more. Last known downtime: Corrupted php binary repaired in under an hour. Ciroc (when I was on it): 99.9% uptime if not more. Last known...

    difficulties to see my website

? X10 does PhpV5; you might be confusing Intermediate php with php version 2 - it's just a restriction system x10 uses to stop spammers from crippling the server 24/7.

    PHP MYSQL Connect

More likely I'd think x10's firewall is preventing any outgoing connections altogether; you may want to file a support ticket at http://support.x10hosting.com to see if there's a way to "whitelist" your ip/port so you can use your own sql database instead of one at x10. Conversely moving it to...

Awww, figured the rule was "if it already exists don't remake it" :S Ah well, have a modded Caution sign. Not enough? Mr. Greedy gets a racoon! STILL NOT ENOUGH?!? Young obi-wan ruining a prospective olympian's chances at glory. And a bonus (I had to go back in the archives to...

Here's hoping no one tries to hurt me for bumping this. Frankly I like topics like this and I'm quite sad I totally forgot to help bump it sooner. On the plus side, some of this got posted on another forum I browse within the last bit here, so there's some gems. This ain't one of them cause...

    Need x10Hosting (mySQL 7 database)

I've got 3, but that's only cause Wordpress and PHPBB all got their own database (since their tables are prefixed I could easly merge them in with my "Multi" database, which right now I think has stuff for 3 or 4 different things in there). Which brings up my point - you don't need any more...

    New VPS Service!

Well since a VPS really boils down to a self-contained server that can be used and abused as the client wishes, I have my doubts you'll -ever- find a free VPS. No offense intended, but VPS's aren't cheap to run, and they really -are- servers - they're just running along-side a few other virtual...

    How old your current computer?

Better than naming them after planets (too cliche') :) Course you've gotta have a problem if you like the same case manufacturer; you'd end up with NZXT, NZXT MK II, NZXTIII, NZXT IV, etc :)

    PHP Script Trouble

It's gunna be extra work, but for the sake of argument, echo the result of each function on a separate line in html - my guess is one of them is going to return a blank(null) line, and that may very well be messing up the entire $resumeCode line. Course that also brings up another question -...

    How old your current computer?

"Bumblebee," and prolly around a year. Too lazy to go dig up the Newegg invoice. And no not after the Transformer; after the insect, cause of the bright yellow and black case. Prolly gunna rename it Hornet once my tax refund does its job though - motherboard, cpu, and ram are getting a...
