    xfire

I've been doing pc for a while although my xfire is mucked up right now. Says I played Hearts for 11 hours - Hearts ran and I killed the EXE right away, xfire glitched and said it was still running :P Other than that I <3 Xfire. Check the...

    New Update Scipt?

^ For anyone replying, if he can't use PHP it's pretty much going to destroy every php page available. Which limits him to FTP, where he'd edit locally and upload the changed file to their host (I say their host cause if it's x10, php works just fine and CMS's become an option :) )

    3 monitors New problem HELP!

sfan123's onto a good idea with moving one of the two monitors to the 8800; what this sounds MORE like though is a problem with the OS configuration or limitations itself. Connection's won't help cause it's not the entire monitor dieing, it's just the background/wallpaper...HMMMMMMMM, you've...

    publicftp

Won't even work for that because the pictures have to be in public_html to be viewable; in all honesty I have no idea what public_ftp is good for ON X10 at least. My -guess- is it's a leftover from Apache for places like a video game patch repository - you'd have anonymous login's enabled and...

what is wrong with my dreamweaver

FYI, leafypiggy's the mod who moved this to the correct area - now that it's in the right spot we can attempt to fix it. Unfortunately you'll find that Adobe has absolutely FUBAR'd Dreamweaver, as a similar error exists in photoshop cs2, cs3, and from what I can tell cs4 - the only solution...

    Does X10hosting support ASP

http://forums.x10hosting.com/news-announcements/93947-lastest-new-updates.html ASP.Net != ASP, I feel I need to make that 100% clear-as-unflawed-crystal. Now that that's straightened out, no X10 doesn't support ASP, they support ASP.net - ASP requires Windows, ASP.Net can run through the...

    Vegetarians

Find me someone who would eat any kind of meat no matter how cheap or expensive, and I'll show you a flying leprechaun pig (and then feed it to that person you found). Everyone's got their favorites obviously, and depending how it's prepared meat might taste completely different than normal...

    .htaccess

.htaccess: <Files *> order allow, deny deny from all </Files> Include and Require by php will still work though; apparently PHP bypasses the .htaccess requirement since apache isn't actually serving the page to the user, it's being used by another php document. No idea how to change...

    New Website

1; the others all use a font I don't believe I have on my computer, which would result in them not displaying as intended on my system in particular (and quite likely there'll be other systems missing those as well). Honestly though, 4's the best if you can get around using a 'squiggly' font...

    register_globals for osCommerce?

What I'm not sure of though is whether x10 will actually let you use that php.ini - my guess is with x10's php versions (basic, intermediate, and advanced), php.ini won't work like it would on a normal server. Hence why he'll wanna check with the support ticket system, especially given that in...

    register_globals for osCommerce?

Edit: Just checked here: http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?showtopic=318750 A late post from october 2008 indicates the Release Candidate (RC) releases of osCommerce are register_globals off compatible - you may want to snag one of them off their website and give it a shot And now back to...

    Fedora / WinXP Question

I honestly can't remember what suse I've got, it's a really old copy and I quite disliked it >_< http://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/dual_boot_fedora_xp/ <--- start with XP installed and read through that once before going, seems to be exactly what you'd need :) ^ That's the part I was...

    Fedora / WinXP Question

Google how to Dual-Boot Fedora and XP - that's probably the best if what you want is to still be able to play the windows games. I'm not sure if Fedora does it on its own or not, but once it's set up for dual boot, you'll get a screen after starting your computer that'll say something similar...

How will the future world be?

In the future, we'll all be dead. Seriously, it's gunna happen. Now exactly -when- all human existence is wiped out and -how-, that's up for debate :) Fact of the matter is nothing lasts forever, so lets make it a dang good run while we can

    hi all....

For distributing a Windows XP cd key :) I'm re-reporting this (reported it earlier), it needs to get locked but I found the duplicate topic here: http://forums.x10hosting.com/marketplace/94973-off-25-hi-all.html So now it's a duplicate, AND a suspended site, and since the site is suspended...

Contacted some staff via IRC, site was located on x10 and is now suspended :) For future reference though if you find something like this, either report the post (great for the forum), or look here: http://x10hosting.com/contact/abuse That last one contacts the admins directly with an abuse...

    ASP support

ASP isn't ASP.net - they're separate. .net can be emulated in linux (which is what x10 is on), however ASP requires windows, so x10 can only do ASP.net. Gotta point out the site does say it's ASP.net: CGI, PHP, ASP.NET, SSI, FrontPage Extensions, Perl, Python You'll wanna look for one that...
