    Review My Site

The fonts on the headers (like News, X10Radio, etc) seem really difficult to read cause of the font, but otherwise it all looks very good :)

    Bug in Notepad

Just tested aaaa aaa aaa aaaaa on XP SP2 Pro, ascii-blox came up after saving (garbled text in other words). It'll work as long as it's 4-3-3-5 and you're on 2000/xp.

    Trick - WinXP Rotate screen

Doesn't always work - if memory serves this is somewhat dependent on both the copy of XP installed AND the drivers for the card in question. For me, Win XP SP2 Pro w/Nvidia Geforce 8800gt up-to-date drivers as of a few days ago when I installed it. I have to right-click on the NVIDIA Settings...

    Contact Form Error

Will have the same exact problem - the <link> tag has already been sent to the browser, and as such we can no longer alter the headers. Sending the <link> tag had PHP send the headers so the browser knew it was rendering a webpage, can't modify it anymore. Dunno if the exit helps or not but it...

    Contact Form Error

It's easy to see when I just made the mistake twice in the last day and a half :) And posted about twice on another site >_<

    Contact Form Error

Problem is right here: (first line) <link rel="stylesheet" href="../css/main.css" /> In order to send a header via php, NOTHING can already be sent to the browser. Since you sent that link tag, the header is no longer able to be modified. Should be easy enough to fix, rip that out and it...

    Make $100 Per Week!

Why is it when I read the site it sounds almost identical to a pyramid scheme? Magically you've got a $10 fee to get in, with exactly 10 openings, with pay-to-receive directions to learn how to get $100. Funny thing - 10 openings = 10 X $10 = $100 for you, which is what you're offering to...

Which is better hybernation or shutdown.

To challenge that I unhooked the 160gb hd out of this pc, which has a hibernated copy of xp on it, and put it back in the original pc it came from. Keep in mind that hybernated copy of XP has not been used in two months, while the other partitions on the drive have been formatted, shrunk...

What gamepad are you using for pc?

PS2 gamepad, I've only managed to cause one to stop working thus far. They're pretty dang tough, whereas the only other gamepad I have that is still alive is an old 4 button dpad gamepad that uses a serial port instead of a USB. Everything else that I spent $30-$50 on basically fell apart...

    storing ip address of visitors

He means double single quotes, not a single double. Ergo, 2 of these: ' in a row, instead of 'null'. Which if memory serves is correct - you need to give it nothing in that field, and to do so, you pass it an empty string :)

    From php problem

Second part's not right, look at the html: method=post, hence he needs to use $_POST to get the data out of the page. Only part that's broken is him not being on intermediate.

25-50 creds for advertising on your site!

Disable any adblocking software you have enabled, such as AdBlock Plus for firefox. aopsftw: you might want to change the path those images are stored in - any ad filter that filters urls with the phrase /ads/ in it will stop those from loading, hence why I among other users can't see anything...

    Browser Based Games

http://www.aatraders.com/ Insanely complex but it _is_ browserbased, I've seen it running on x10 and installed it myself, although I found it so complex I wanted to drive over my own head with a Geo Tracker <_< Still, it does have the source available for installing. Also 1000ad supposedly...

    Help With PhP

I'm working on helping him out in IRC as well, think we might've gotten it sorted :) From what I can tell though we pretty much ended up with the same code you've got there.

    Is Vista Worth?

Thats not Vista. Aries.sys is NOT something that comes with Vista by default. That's Sony, sent with their compliments. Google it, comes up as this: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2005-110615-2710-99 And I quote: As much as I hate vista I have to defend it there...

    Userbars in Paint.net

Might be scaled up or something then; same font as mine upon closer inspection but the sizing's off. Course I have no idea if the tutorial I followed was considered "standard" or not, I just followed it :)

    Userbars in Paint.net

Only thing I'm not sure about is the font - it doesn't look like the one thats supposedly the "standard," although it's been a while since I did mine so I've got no clue _what_ the standard actually is. Regardless they look good, and that's really all that matters :)

PC Building help...Again (no really, maybe I'll actually build it this time)

For right now the most complex thing I might do is run a VMWare machine so I can program for linux (I can barely code for windows though it seems, been a while since I've messed with it). It's sounding like I should just go dual, which is probably what I'll do. Advantage at least is the board...

PC Building help...Again (no really, maybe I'll actually build it this time)

K so anyone who remembers my old topic about this, basically void it from memory cause nothing matches anymore. Like how it usually goes, life intervened and I still dun have the cash for a new pc (for about a week and a half - PAYDAY!) Here's the interesting part. I recently discovered that...
