I don't think PCSX2 is a multi-threaded application, it won't utilize more than one core. In this situation, a higher clocked processor is better than more cores at a lower frequency.

It's hard to say if those downloads were actually losses. There are people who actually buy the game, or support the title and still download a copy where the DRM is removed. (You still have deal with the limited 3-time installation but atleast no secuROM is installed, right?)

I'm sure it will look a lot better than that, I've seen screens in PC Gamer that were much much more amazing than Crysis (and Crysis Warhead which is less graphics heavy than Crysis).

I hope they don't incorporate vehicles to CoD. It never seemed like a good element to FPS. Crysis, UT3, Quake Wars, never caught on when it came to multiplayer, but I won't go as far as to say vehicles incorporation is what ruined it.
