Ok, thank you @ctyrd I've been able to create a new domain (didn't quite realise you had to add it before the hosting control panel interface and also didn't know which domains were available from x10 hosting, so your post has been very helpful). I think this is now all sorted. thank you.

Yes it does, but it's not on X10 hosting. I want to do some testing first with a test TLD before I jump right in with my own production domain. as @ctyrd has shown above, it's currently sitting on infinityfree, and I want to leave it there until I've proven the X10 hosting.

Thanks, I'm aware of that, but I found because I added a custom domain, instead of using one of the X10 provided TLDs, I can't then add one of the X10 tlds subsequently, so I just want it gone to start again.

I set up an incorrect domain with the free service, how do I cancel that service and start afresh? Apologies for the hassle. Thank you in advance.
