I created another user and deleted the problematic one. now it works.

i did that. There are connection instructions next to the new ftp user123, and I followed the instructions. but it won't accept the new password I created for user123. It will take my admin user's cpanel password, but I can't create a separate password for user123.

I figured out how to login with my primary account. However, I added another ftp user, and changed the password of that user to something else. The ftp won't accept the new password. 530 error.

I uploaded a small 38mb mp4 h264 video to my public folder, used the correct html , browser detects the correct video length, but the video won't play. When trying to play the video, it skips to the end. If i remotely host the video on another server, it plays fine of course. edit: hmm...
