What do you choose for your blogging platform? Blogger or Wordpress?

WordPress, because it's far more flexible. While the backend code is messy as all get out, theming is dead simple but extremely flexible. I also like knowing that I have my data right there in a MySQL database and I can handle it as I like. --- Mr. DOS

    Fedora vs Ubuntu, what?

Ubuntu's nice and user-friendly, but the overall polish seems to grow duller and duller with every release, with anything from regressions in popular drivers to outright broken features. Fedora's good in that it largely doesn't have these problems (mind you, neither do pretty much all other...

    Bandwidth stats from inside VPS?

Yes, I'm aware of that option and the problems associated with it, which are why I'd like to directly retrieve what HyperVM says I've used. I will use something like that if no other method can be found, though. --- Mr. DOS

    Bandwidth stats from inside VPS?

Hi, I'd like to use a PHP script running inside my VPS to monitor my bandwidth totals for the month. Short of scraping numbers out of the HyperVM page, is there any way I can interact with OpenVZ/HyperVM from within the VPS? --- Mr. DOS

This is remote text via xss.js located at ha.ckers.org

You're going to have to tell us more - where in your site is this occurring, and is it in a script you wrote yourself? From what I can tell, someone's exploited an XSS vulnerability in your site. --- Mr. DOS

    Guess Who Posts Next

No, but I got a new used server yesterday (two blown capacitors, sadly, so I'm going to have to take it back to get a replacement), and I found out that two old toys (distortion pedals) aren't broken. I guess someone who should be doing some form of work. --- Mr. DOS

Account Suspended for high system resource usage

From http://wordpress.org/support/topic/224250: Looks like it's a WP built-in. Be careful of NextGEN - it takes a lot of CPU when generating thumbnails for images after a bulk upload. Even though it takes longer, it's better to upload images one at a time when you're dealing with a CPU quota...

Game: Ban the Person above you!!!!!!!!!!!

Banned for being from a place with overall terrible bandwidth. (I feel for you, man - I should probably self-ban for being in the same situation...) --- Mr. DOS
