I did indeed come across that thread, but I also came across this announcement. The announcement was posted after that thread so I am assuming it is now allowed?

Hi, sorry if I am posting a question with an obvious answer, but how can I get SSH enabled on my account? I found an announcement from back in July, 2009 saying to create a Support ticket if you want SSH enabled for your account. Thanks!
