it'd be a lot easier to solve if you actually told what the exact domain is, as it would likely be needed to remove it from name servers. Seem to have gotten added there, but not fully in your account, or it has been listed on your account previously and was not properly removed at that point.

Our free servers have a completely different setup form the paid servers, so the .htaccess may need some altering to work. For instance, adding RewriteBase / could be needed depending on what you are trying to achieve with .htaccess

depends on how long ago you did the change, can be anywhere from a couple hours to 48 hours. You might also need to clear cache and/or flush dns to get it to display properly.

if you recently changed the domain, there's some propagation time involved. Not only when it comes to making the domain known all over internet, but also for all parts of the system to be fully aware of what content that domain should display.

There's a maintenance script currently running. That does cause the load to go high, which can cause websites to respond slow, or timeout completely. This applies for all servers, and I can unfortunately not say with certainty when it will be fully executed.

The load on boru, as well as the other servers, is currently higher then normal due to maintenance. This could be part of the problem. I'll check the ftp service to make sure. ADD: Can you try now?
