    I can't Upload in Joomla 1.7

    I can't seem to upload anything in Joomla 1.7. I had checked my permissions, ftp information, etc. But it wont install or upload. Any ideas? I t keeps saying that it can't find installation details. I searched online they said to contact the hosting so I am. Any help please?
