Sooo..after much tribulation I think I almost, kinda have Shoutcast installed. Now, how do I actually see and manage the files on my VPS? I assume I need to purchase cpanel in order to do this?

I can't get root access to my VPS. I changed my ssh client to Putty so I could disable the gssapi but now the server keeps denying my password (yes, I am using the correct password). Any suggestions would be helpful as I'm pretty frustrated right now.
