I tried renaming the file. I still have the problem, even accessing the site from a different browser on a different computer. Any other ideas?

I entered cain.x10.mx and got Redirecting you to x10Hosting free web hosting.. and got sent to the www.x10hosting.com home page When I add /default.html it finds my default.html home page I saw the earlier post for another site and tried renaming .htaccess but the problem still exists

At first, when I entered "vdelcmediacenter.x10.mx" in a browser it would go to "vdelcmediacenter.x10.mx/default.html", as expected. Then I experimented with redirection, realized that wasn't what I wanted to do, and cancelled the redirection. MyWebsites shows "not redirected" which is correct...

I'm sorry I made a mistake when I set up my account. My account subdomain is currently vdelc.x10.mx Please change it to vdelcmediacenter.x10.mx Thanks
