any preferences for fire walls I read zone alarm.. I'm thinking about kasperskys complete protection but I'm afraid to be taken hostage ... I got an old lappy and I need something light that won't conflict with kasperskys anti-virus suggestions welcome..

scan all suspect files @ virustotal com scans files with all the "known" anti-viruses on the market.... too cool if they could figure out a way to do that on a hdd the would be tops...

I too dis-activated my AV a long time ago... why.. how could you... OMG... well I never open a suspicious email... if I download a file I scan it with the free online AV scanner @ virustotal com which is a service that scans your file with ALL the most known AV on the market... as I said...
