In phpMyAdmin (Version 2.11.6), it claims that MySQL is only version 4.1.22. Also, when you said upload my own copy to cpanel, did you mean phpMyAdmin, or MySQL?

I already have, but I can't alter the tables, and the only way i know how is through phpMyAdmin. Is there any other way?

I'm trying to use a directory backup, but each time I try to use it, the server gets reset. Is is possible to upload the backup to the site using FTP and use the backup there?

I could use the restore directory feature before without a problem. It's my main site.

Maybe I worded it wrong. I can't use the backup feature of cpanel because whenever I use the option to restore directory and I choose the proper file, it seems to work then after 5 minutes, my window displays that the server was reset while I was connecting. Edit: also I have a memory issue...
