Sounds like a good idea. The main problem I can see is for some people who currently use TinyURLs (or similar) to squeeze more text & links into a field which only allows a small quota of characters. For example, some people seem to use them to get more links into their sigs.

Moving isn't nice - usually just hard work, stressful & expensive - so I wish you good luck with it. Just don't forget to pack your PC!

You can sign up for a free domain name at www.co.cc & then set the DNS there to point to ns1.x10hosting.com & ns2.x10hosting.com. In x10's cPanel, set up the new .co.cc domain as an Add-on domain. Thus you will have 2 (or more) free domains, all managed from within one x10hosting account. :)
