Hey. I've read what you've told me, and figured it didn't apply to me because I don't have the "mysql" directory, or the my.cnf file. Maybe I need to create one?

Yeah, I don't think so. It's been almost a week since I put the new code up. Suspiciously my database code for another site stopped working, and one of the admins claims it my code, although I hadn't changed anything when it stopped working.

OK, I've read all the posts that contain this error, and none of the solutions worked for me. I'd appreciate if someone could check and see what's wrong. It's just a basic login script. Yes, I DID change the server name to localhost. Not sure if you can check my script this way...
