Definitely not overwritten anything else, all file names are in lower case. Had it working fine on my old hosting too.

The index.html is DEFINITELY overwritten, I have checked it about 5 times!

I am also having the same problem. Uploaded all my site files and made sure that index.html has been overwritten with my own version. I have cleared my browser cache and also tried with a different browser.
