Access was restored! I deleted and recreated the "webmaster@voluntocracy.org" account for POP on X10hosting and Evolution. It still won't authenticate, repeatedly asks for password. The Evoloution settings are: host: voluntocracy.org, User Name: webmaster.
I tried to change the password on...
Deleted stuff in Evolution and started over. I setup an account with gjr.x10.mx. When I try to fetch POP now it fails at authentication. I tried "ajaffer", "ajaffer@voluntocracy.org" and "agj@alum.mit.edu" as the user name; none would authenticate.. Is the password the same as I use for...
I see. The server type can't be changed. I created a POP email identity with your suggested settings. Should the server really have been "gjr.x10.mx"? The account disappears as soon as I finish setup.
Evolution does not seem to support POP. I am just trying to receive email. Please ask staff to unblock my IP. I will not try Evolution; but I need to read email from the control panel.
Thanks! I tried to read email before I saw your reply, so it may be blocked again. I have the credentials entered into Evolution, but which port, which encryption method and which authentication types should I use?
It worked on Jan 1, but not since then. Both Firefox and Chrome time-out trying to reach the control panel. This is from an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS system. It does respond from Tor with the message:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to x13.x10hosting.com:2222. SSL...
Because chopin.x10hosting.com is so heavily loaded, it is a great platform for vetting my website (cweed.org) for concurrency problems. But I need the Apache logs to diagnose the problems. Is there some way I can get the Apache logs for cweed.org running on chopin.x10hosting.com? I am willing...
This post solved the problem.
Did something change with X10Hosting's certificate?

Up to June 11, I was able to use linux lftp to upload web-pages to cweed.org (hosted by X10-hosting). When I try to use lftp now, it times out trying to connect.
Trying regular ftp, I am able to connect, but commands are ignored in some sessions.
Since this morning, browsing voluntocracy.org shows "Default Web Site Page".

It was working fine yesterday; I made no changes since then.
My account (ajaffer) has 3 subdomains and 2 addon-domains. When I try to add a third addon-domain, it fails with:
Error from domain wrapper: Sorry, you have exceeded the maximum allowed subdomains
