When i attempt to make a database it goes through the steps but then fails to create one. no errors are given it says that it was done successfully. when i go to phpmyadmin it does not load and says that it cannon find the socket. It gives an error number of #2002.

I know for a fact that frontpage extensions are installed. I was using them an then I went to upload my project and it said that the directory was unavailable. i followed by disconnecting and then i go the error that they were uninstalled.
