why do i keep on getting unable to connect? it been happening alot today. but i havent seen any updates about it.

how come whenever i try to use the mysql_num_rows() this happens: Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource. also i've followed all of the instructions and i have intermediate php.

does anyone know any good php tutorials besides the ones on w3 schools and tutorialized? thankks
