    htaccess give me 404 error

    Hello, I have php script and I want to make url "prettier" When I try: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^(.*)\.html$ index.php?i=$1 [nc]I get 404 error. When I test it on my computer with xampp everything works fine. Can anyone help me?
