Hi fellas!!

so i need help because my site not work since 2 days wha'ts the problem? DNS is not run?

Um, actually, I would think that it would have had time to propigate by now to enough servers that people shouldn't be having that problem anymore... I could be wrong about this though which is why I'm about to ask this.. could someone please check my site to see if they can reach it since I can't? it's http://ofb.x10hosting.com

I can see your site. One thing you have to take into account is the root DNS servers...there are only 13 in the entire world, and it's what everyone goes to (ISPs, etc...), to get their DNS listings. Also, some ISPs don't update their DNS servers every 72 hours, sometimes longer, to conserve on bandwidth.

DAMN THIS IS SO WEIRD...
Well, i can only access my site when i use a proxy,
And FTP doesnt work still..

And if i wanted to access my site, ok i have done that...but what about all the other people that want to access??
Some are not smart enough to get proxies..

this is so stupid....
What can you do??

Ftp is up but there is one problem that could be doing it. If it doesnt clear itself then I`ll try a restart but Corey could be doing more right now to teh server so we`ll wait for a bit.

The proxy only works because you're using another network connection...which is another ISP...which most likely has a current copy of the DNS addresses.

Sometimes I wish people would LEARN how the Internet works.

Now here's something new, from the exact same computer I was using yesterday when I posted I was able to get to my site sometime after 4pm CST, but now I can't again... and the sticky thread that shows if the services are up or down show them all as up... unless my isp reset it's dns, which really wouldn't surprise me at all right now, I can't figure out what's going on with it.

THe proxy works because the ISP for the proxy has updated their DNS
