404 Not Found error

I have transferred my website to X10VPS.I am running wordpress.But I am getting a problem,only my first homepage works,in all other pages I am getting 404 Not Found error.But my pages has not entirely deleted it is in my dashboard.Please help me in resolving this issue.

did you enable mod_rewrite? is there any .htaccess file in your document root?

thanks for your reply,but it was not VPS problem.It is the permalink problem of wordpress which needs re saving to work after tranfer(as told by someone in wordpress forum).The issue is now resolved.
