Hey all,
I've been struggling with this problem for a while now. Hopefully somebody can help!
Current Setup
The Problem
I would like it so that both work. Preferably so that /blog redirects to blog.
I have an inkling that it may be something to do with the .htaccess inside /blog but I'm not completely sure.
If I delete the .htaccess file, both /blog and blog. work, but then blog post permalinks don't work
This is the content of the .htaccess file:
Any ideas?

Current Setup
- WordPress blog is stored in the mydomain.co.uk/blog directory
- I'm using the Subdomains section in cPanel where the subdomain is blog.mydomain.co.uk, the document root is /public_html/blog and the redirection is not directed
- Under the General Settings in WordPress, both the WordPress address and the site address are set to blog.mydomain.co.uk
The Problem
- If the user navigates to mydomain.co.uk/blog they are presented with a 404 error page
- If the user navigates to blog.mydomain.co.uk everything is fine
