421 Too many connections (8) from this IP

Hello there!
I have a problem :S
When i go on FileZilla, it gives me the message: 421 Too many connections (8) from this IP
I went to the options and changed the transfer options to 1, but it keeps appearing that message!
I went to the FTP Session Control on my cpanel and it says: There are no active ftp sessions for your account.

What can i do?

Are you trying to access your FTP from public Internet access, or are you using a line-of-sight wireless Internet provider who's cheaped out and is using the same IP for every user on your tower (e.g., Xplornet)?

FileZilla may require you to break and reestablish the connection for the changed connection settings to apply. Easiest way to make sure this has happened is to close and reopen FileZilla. I'm guessing you've done this?

How far does the connection get? Can you get a directory listing and browse around but just not upload, or can you not even connect?

What server are you on?
