Ok, so I get a 500 internal server error. Then it says additionally, there is a 404 error. Even though the files are showing up in the FTP program.
Edit:
I also forgot to add my server is cossacks.

What permission do you have your files set at? They should be set at 755 or less.

The 404 error inside of a 500 error is just something goofy that Apache likes to do. Just ignore that. The main problem is the 500 Internal Server Error. What server are you on, and what type of page/file are you trying to load (html, php, etc). If it's PHP, do you have Intermediate PHP? Also, check your file permissions.

I can probably bet that some of the issues are because of the file permissions. Corey stated a while back that under the new security settings, no file can have permission set above 755. If you reset the file permissions to 755 and lower, I bet a lot of the errors will go away.

ok so now I have to wait 24 hours?.... That's stupid in my opinion. Anyway, is there any other way I might get this fixed quicker? NVM, it was fixed with the file permissions. yay.

For the PHP settings, no. The script is only run at a certain time. There is no way to speed up this process.
If your issue has been resolved, I will close this thread. :)

I turned back File permissions to 755 but the problem didn't resolve. What should I do?

Another Question, May I set Folder permission to 777?

I did for the required files and my site works fine, although you may need to request the PHP intermediate version. (level 2)
