Hi, I run a PHP-based site at dizzytech.x10hosting.com. All of my permissions on pages are generally 755. Now, all of my pages are spitting out 500 Errors only. What do I do! :eek4:

It's not a problem on your end, the server is acting up.

Ok I got it back up, should be working now

Read in a server topic announcement, 755 is the best setting to not cause errors and keep safe.

I've got the same problem.
I looked into the error log in cPanel. It says:

[Sat Apr 15 12:43:15 2006] [error] [client 81.5.248.113] File does not exist: /backup/home/alfifred/public_html/wgboard/500.shtml
[Sat Apr 15 12:43:15 2006] [error] [client 81.5.248.113] (11)Resource temporarily unavailable: couldn't spawn child process: /backup/home/alfifred/public_html/wgboard/mambo/index.php

Edit: It seems to be working now...

I was just repeating what the 500 error means... I couldn't have possibly known the server was acting up.
