500 internal Server error..Did i deleted something?

Hi, i just activated my account with X10hosting, and was able to log-in through FTP with Filezilla.
I went in there , saw some HTML pages that was included in the account, i deleted and upload my eCommerce script ( I was able to upgraded into a Intermediate PHP ).
Everything uploaded fine, but when i use my web browser to install my scripts, the homepage is a 500 Internal Error...I'm not sure if i accidentally deleted some vital HTML files that was there before i logs in or not, but please help me.

ALso, can i delete the _private or _vti_bin folders? I don't know why are they there but i really don't wanna mess it up .

Make sure that you don't have the permissions on anything over 755.
It takes 6-12 hours for the PHP upgrade to take effect.
Keep those folders.

Hey, can a MOD restart my hosting account? I think i messed with the file permission and a few other settings. As Chris have said, those settings might cause this error. Thank you and please reset my host account

We cant do account resets, we can only terminate
Directories should be 755, files 644.
