500 Internal Server Error / JOOMLA

Hello fellas from all over the wold

i just installed joomla cms system and wanted to continue by uploading some additional components.

But there comes always this 500 internal server error(additional also an 404 error). What is to do to solve that?

I would like to upload my components via joomla backend. doing that via ftp is not a proper solution.
Yes, everything is writable - rights are at least 755!

Are there (on x10hosting) problems using components FOR JOOMLA. i need a lot of them like
VIRTUEMART (who atually caused the problem described in this thread). If it causes unsolvable
problems i will take my legs and run crying back into the wide www.

i got all on 755 ... should not b the problem there.


SOMETHING NEW HAPPEN:

I uploaded virtuemart via ftp (did this already before on other hosts and is easy thing.. want 2say ...did it
like supposed to b done) and then the following error occured after trying to complete installation:

Fatal error: SUHOSIN - Use of eval is forbidden by configuration in /home/byatch/public_html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/header.php(77) : eval()'d code on line 77

I am really thankful for every help on dealing with this!! :bowrofl:

- Though its NOT a problem, consider having 644 for files for your security.
- Your account PHP Version is Basic now. Please apply for upgrading to Intermediate PHP version at Account Management Panel.
