My website has been down for 2 days now and I have no idea why.

I haven't changed anything on it, I hadn't actually visited it in around 4 days (Because of exams).

Any ideas?

The cPanel error log is FULL of these lines:
[Fri Oct 24 07:12:21.582856 2014] [core:alert] [pid 917031] [client xxx.xxxx.xx] /home/mitche11/public_html/.htaccess: Invalid command '1', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

EDIT: If you get this problem THIS IS WHAT TO DO:

Go into your website through your FTP and locate the public_html folder. Enter this folder and DELETE .htaccess

Go into your website through your FTP and locate the public_html folder. Enter this folder and DELETE .htaccess
For other users DO NOT DELETE any [ .htaccess ] files in any folder - you should rename them to something like [ .htaccess_bk ]
You might find that your site needs them to work - such as a CMS

the "500 Internal Server Error" is made by errors within your [ .htaccess ] file(s) - find and fix the errors
