500 Internal Server Error

Ok, please hear me out before deleting or locking my thread.

Since yesterday afternoon at around 10:00AM, I've been getting this "500 Internal Server Error." It's been causing me lots of problems because I have some of my dedicated posters yelling from left and right saying its not working about a million times.

I'm not blaming you at all, and I'm not begging for you to fix it. Basiclly the only thing I wonna hear is if there is any progress, if you found the problem and maybe an explenation about what the problem is.

I'm really clueless about servers and apache and stuff so I don't get it.

So please if you can fix it or tell me if its working. It'll be much appreciated. I've heard all these things like its being compiled or something but I have no idea what that means and if that means that it'll be fixed.

"500" errors seem to be caused mainly by bad scripts on a user's account... Were there any changes that you made to any of your scripts that caused this error, or did it just come up out of the blue?

It was your .htaccess file. I moved it to .htaccess.bk until you can look at it and figure out what is causing the issue.
