522 Disk full FTP Error

I'm getting an FTP error using filezilla. I can connect to the server, but when I try to upload files I get a "522 - Disk full" error. cPanel shows I still have space, and if I go through the file manager on cPanel I am able to upload files. Is there any reason my FTP client won't allow file transfers?

Server has little to no space left in the partition it's trying to store the data in.
