I'm on the xo5 server. I'm trying to upload files via FTP, but I keep getting a "552 Disk full - please upload later" error.

I've checked disk space and there's plenty of it. I've upload files using the cPanel File Manager and that works fine; though, uploading each file one-by-one is something that is insane to do.

Is there a server issue going on? I've read some forum posts and it seems to be an on-going server error.

Please help. Thank you.

"552 Disk full" - or "522 Disk full" - or "please upload later" - or "server is running out of disk space" - or "error 28 from storage engine" - or errors like that - are at the server level, indicating that the shared data storage partition(s) are full or nearly full or a server read/write-file type of error - which is preventing you from uploading files - or using cPanel - or your site from using a MySQL database - or your script from starting a session - this is a server issue so Admins will need to fix it - your files (data) are NOT the problem and there is nothing you can do but wait

I'm on X05 also. Getting same error. Has been occurring for, going on 18 hours. I'm new customer and am testing X10 services to see if I want to have them as my permanent provider and move to paid service. Experienced 2 outages for greater than 12 hours each in the last 2 weeks. If one has this kind of service at this level how can you feel good about a paid service.

Support, can you tell us how often the free server environment is checked for issues/outages?

lexiriam - how did you check for available disk space?

I just signed up for a new account today, and I am getting the same error when I upload through FTP (even though my disk space usage is nearly 0). Everything works fine when I upload through the File Manager, though.

I just found out myself last night. You have to change your cPanel theme to see disk usage.

Also, I'm on the same server and have been getting the same error since yesterday. I have plenty of disk space and I read elsewhere that it's a problem with the server itself and we'll just have to wait it out

Hi,

I'm sorry for the issues on xo5 earlier today. This has now been resolved, and FTP should be working again. :)

Thank you,
