Created a new account some days ago and never actually managed to use it due to "[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]".

What do I have to do?

There have been several threads recently about this problem. When an administrator sees this support thread, there may be an offer of deleting your account and then recreating it. So far, that has appeared to work for everyone that had this problem.
