a little help, please

Hi, totally new to all of this. I created a simple website using Kompozer and published it to my site on x10hosting but the only way I can see it is if I type "http://mysitesname.x10hosting.com". From my browser, if I type "www.mysitesname.x10hosting.com", it takes me to x10hostings default page. For the http address of my home page in Kompozer I used "http://www.mysitesname.x10hosting.com/", and for the publishing address I used "ftp"//ftp.mysitesname.x10hosting.com/www/"
What am I doing wrong? Thanks ahead of time.

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache?

You should use ftp.mysitesname.x10hosting.com/public_html/ . I know these folders are same but it can matter. because www is a shortcut of public_html
