A problem for all of you good with CD-Roms

I am trying to use Rise of Nations. Works on my desktop and have two copies, Rise of Nations Gold (Desktop) and Rise of Nations bought it at a yard sale. I have no CD Rom drive on my laptop and i'm not buying a USB one. I can install the game by networking my desktops CD-Rom drive and play it but what happens when I go in the car? Or away from my network?

If you need the cd's to play the game you wont be able to play it when your away from your network.

Well you should just make an ISO of the game, using you desktop and transfer it over to your laptop through your network, and use Daemon Tools, to play it on your laptop.

I use Daemon Tools because i don't wanna carry a whole mess of CD's when i go on trips.
