hi

i used to host here for doing some enhancements on my game not launching it .

but since now i will launch my MMORPG game i got question

almost all sites suspend accounts which host MMORPG games unless its vps

first question:
if i bought VPS account here am i allowed to put my MMORPG game and it wont be against terms of service?

second question:
i remmber someone here told me that at VPS accounts i can allow register globals on threw .htacess / php.ini
but its disabled on normal hosting plans and can't be override

is that true?

With a VPS you can host a server for your game.

I highly highly highly highly highly highly highly recommend not using register_globals. It is deprecated, so it will be removed from PHP entirely, and it has been proven time and again to be a very large security risk because of globals overwriting. Attackers can use this vulnerability to execute any code at all whenever they want.

as long as the script you have for the MMORPG is legal. meaning you have full rights. you either wrote it yourself, or bought the rights from someone. and doesn't consume too much system resources. its legal

with VPS you have full control over the server.
