[Account Linking] Not Working

I can't get my account linked to my forum account. Everry time I enter my forum's account name to link it (like it says I have to) it says that "The hosting username you specified does not exist". Why would it say that? I'm doing everything right. I never got the Email I need to activate my account. Can anyone here help me with this? Do I need to Email to get anything else done?

When I first made my account it said to wait 48 Minutes. I verified my Email account. I'm able to log on, but not link..... so I'm gonna have to wait to get father? If so, thanks to telling me now.
