Wow this is really a great place to host a website. Warning to anyone else who is reading this. You guys closed the other ticket so I had to create a new one. So I'll respond to the allegations made on the other thread which was closed without allowing me a chance to respond.
1- Autoblogged is installed on my website true, BUT it is turned OFF. I only use it on occasion and for a few seconds. I activate and deactivate it as needed. It was NOT running on full auto mode.
2- Copyright infringement is only applicable if one is within the USA. Other countries DO NOT Have laws that apply here. Since the anime episodes are from Japan and we are in the USA the laws DO NOT apply. Why are you applying a generalization of laws that simply do not exist? Why are you making up laws? There is NO single universal copyright law that covers the entire globe and all governments abide by it. If you guys want to make up rules then this is a pretty crappy set up. Do you run so scared from the mere mention of copyright infringement? The Japanese government has NO authority on US soil. Same as we have no authority in their country and they have tons of copyrighted infringed movies on their sites.

I have had this website running for a long time on another server with NO problems. Only had to move it because they were shutting down service otherwise I would have stayed there. ALL the issues I was having here were due to server side issues, NONE were of my own creation. I have been a webmaster long enough to know how to manage my websites and not be a burden to the host.

Either way.... If you want to cancel my account then AT THE VERY LEAST give a person some warning and allow them to get a full back up of their website so they can move some place else. Simply shutting me down like this is ridiculous. Let me do a back up and I will be on my way. I would have done a back up earlier but every time I tried the server CRASHED!!!

1. Whether or not it was in "full auto" or not, does not matter--we witnessed it being used. The usage violates our terms of service.

2. No. Our servers are hosted in the USA, and US Copyright Law applies to any content hosted on them. Whether or not the episodes are fully covered under US copyright law, they're still being hosted without the permission of the copyright holder.

I'm glad you had the website running for a long time on another server. Unfortunately we cannot allow your website to remain hosted on ours.

As per sections 4 and 6 of our terms of service, you will not be supplied with any backups, as backups are the responsibility of the user.

In addition, our servers don't "crash" when backups are made.

Just to throw this out here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berne_Convention - The Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, usually known as the Berne Convention, is aninternational agreement governing copyright, which was first accepted in Berne, Switzerland, in 1886.
You'll note that several countries subscribe to this including Japan and the United States, but at it's core is this:
The Berne Convention requires its signatories to recognize the copyright of works of authors from other signatory countries (known as members of the Berne Union) in the same way as it recognizes the copyright of its own nationals.

This basically means that if it was created and is copyrighted in Japan, because both Japan and the United States subscribe to the Berne Convention, the US recognizes the copyright of the author in Japan. As a result, it is indeed possible for you to commit copyright infringement on something created in Japan, as the US recognizes the copyright as though it was created here.

I also can't help but point out that you're missing a third point I made clear in your dispute; you're using a nulled (warez, pirated, copyright infringing, illegal) version of the Autoblogged plugin on your account. Even if we ignore everything else, that plugin is created by a group based in Utah. Even if we pretend the Berne Convention did not exist and the US and Japan had no agreement to enforce copyrights from each other's lands, you still would have been found to be violating US Copyright (even by your own interpretation), and would have been subject to the same suspension once detected.

Now that we've been through all of this yet again, this will be closed yet again, as we've spent enough time explaining this in detail.
