My account was suspended again...and I got this message:
"You have been suspended for high system resource usage. Accounts are suspended for usage when they are detected to have consistently high cpu usage, memory usage, and process amounts. This is an automatic suspension, and the third warning. To resolve this"

My web page is just a wordpress blog, and I am nowhere near the limit on either file space, nor bandwidth.

Can someone let me know what might be causing this? I don't know how to fix it unless I know what's wrong.

Thanks

High resource usage has nothing to do with bandwidth/disk space.

What plugins are you running? Typical plugins that cause high resource usage (CPU) are cache plugins like WP Super Cache.

I am not using WP Super Cache... I am using: Askimet, Google Analytics, I like This, Twitter Tools...there are two more (DUI and Auto Delete Posts) but I don't think these are only invoked when I access them...not when serving up the web page. Do you know if one of these is a CPU hog?

I don't think those could cause suspension. I often get suspended in Wordpress when I update many things in very little time such as making many saves to the theme files or pressing the Spam/Approve buttons for many comments individually. Avoid refreshing or making many actions in a short amount of time.

Thanks for the responses...but I am still being suspended....I can resume the account...but then 10 min. later it is suspended again...I can't imagine the web page is being hit very much at all! I am not that popular! :)
And by "many" actions...do you mean 3? 20? My wordpress is very modest...I can't imagine it is much bigger/more than a typical site.

When your account gets suspended, are you doing anything involving adding data to the database, such as publishing a post, approving a post, etc...? I don't know about the number of actions, but an extended period of high CPU usage triggers suspension. I got suspended in the past, for updating my theme files, then viewing my page, then going back to my theme files and update them again and viewing my site again over a total time span of 30 seconds.

I did today...I was updating posts...and after ~5 it suspended my account (I schedule posts ahead of time). This was never the case previously...I think after the servers were moved, they made the account more restrictive...now I can;t even update my blog...I think I will need to move my page elsewhere. Thanks for your responses.

Try waiting about 30 seconds-1 minute between each manual post update and at least 5 minutes between scheduled ones (as these work like Cron jobs).
