Add advertise in SMF

I tried to add ads in SMF by using Global Header but the ads don't appear in my forums. Anyone can help me, I have used SMF only for 2 days.

Try this and remember you always need to read the sticky threads before posting a question, because it might already be answered.

Of course I have read it, I used mod Global Headers and Footers but the ads don't appear.

Oh, Firefox user can't see your ads, only Internet Explorer and other browser user can see it. But don't worried, my site is only for my class and almost my friend use IE in surf Internet.

Download the ad mod. Then go to your admin panel in SMF and then to the package manager and upload the .zip file you downloaded to your desktop. Install the mod and then in the admin panel you should see a new link called "Ad management". In there is where you can put your ads. They will show anywhere on your forum.

If you are using a custom theme the ad mod will not work unless you edit the template files. (4 of them) in the custom theme folder you are using. Go here:

I have posted all the edits for that mod to make it easier for ppl to install on a custom theme. I also have edited some template files and have saved them so if you are using a theme I have already edited then I will have those 4 template files done already.
