OK, well, since it's SMF, I don't think that it is a .htaccess file error at all. I think the problem may lie with the fact that your forum's default URL may not be set up with the domain that you wish to use. Make sure your SMF URL settings are set for http://someforum.es.kz and not http://someforum.x10hosting.com since you want to use a domain. If this setting is not set up righgt, any link/any action that you do on the forum from your domain will move to your x10 domain name, causing errors. You can change this value in the settings.php file in the forum's file. Or, you could use the repair_settings.php file to do this instead of messing with the settings.php code.

If you installed SMF through Fantastico, this might be the case. Also, as a reminder, just make sure while you're getting the site set up that you are running SMF 1.1.4 :)

Well, the forum theme and URL should be set now, but what .htaccess files do you have in there? The only htaccess files I have on my SMF forum are only in my themes folder.

Well, in the SMF folder, well, where your forum software is located, is there an .htaccess file where index.php is located? That would be my only guess.

I am not sure if this will address your problem, but when I changed my domain, after I ran the repair settings program, I then had to go into Themes and Layout Settings and change the base path to the themes directory.

Hope this helps.
