Hi,

I'm new to the whole kind of thing of hosting so yeah..

I downloaded a free kind of helpdesk and I want to put that on my site, and it says you need to make a MY SQL database to add everything to it.

I made this and now I am wondering how to add all the files in the folder to put it into the database.

I'm also wondering what the URL of it will be, because im hoping it for to be support.sitename.x10hosting.com or something like that.

Thanks and regards.

As a rule the helpdesk thing most likely comes with an install.txt or a readme.txt on what to do.

Normally it goes something like

upload all the files in a zip to a directory in your website
make a database, make note of the name, username and password
edit some file within that set you just uploaded
goto some URL and complete the install.

I own a forum so how can you upload things to a directory?

Do you know any sites to be able to upload it to?

sorry to be such a pain ;)
