Why don't I have any addon domains, I thought that I would be able to use at least one with this free hosting?

You're correct in your thinking. It appears there are a few problems with the correct information being displayed at the moment.

As you may or may not be aware we've recently been working on a new backend system and creating a new front site.

This is an unofficial support area and as such there isn't a lot members can do to help you.

Official support - http://support.x10hosting.com/ - if you need to get the domain connected quickly however it may be some time before you get an answer because I'm sure there will be lots of tickets that upper staff are answering because of the new changes around x10Hosting.
