1. open up a new document in photoshop, i'm using a 400x400 white document.
2. press d to reset your colors and then choose the gradient tool. make sure the settings are as follows:
3. make lots of gradients..go crazy. this is how mine turned out:
4. go to filter>>blur>>radial blur and use these settings: 100, zoom, best.
5. go to filter>>pixelate>>mezzotint>>long strokes.
6. go to filter>>blur>>radial blur and use the same settings as in step 4. press ctrl-F three times.
7. go to layer>>duplicate layer. choose the top layer and go to filter>>distort>>polar coordinates>>polar to rectangular.
8. make sure you are on the top layer, and change its blending mode to lighten.
9. press ctrl-e to merge the layers. press ctrl-u and choose whatever colors you like. i used these settings. hue: 187, saturation: 59, lightness: 0. make sure you check the colorize box at the bottom right hand corner.
10. this is how mine turned out. everyone's will be different, like mine has more white on the left side, but yours might not.
Hope this is a good Tutorial!
