hi im using x10 phpbb forums and i would liek to know if theres a way to ad your banner on the forum leik up teh top liek u got
ads by goooooogle

What he means is edit the header file if one is present (likely will be a PHP or HTML file), or if not there might be some way to do this from the Admin CP. Also, I think you need to check in with Corey or another staff member to get permission to use Google ads (or similar programs) on your site, so make sure you do that just to cover yourself.

I'm pretty sure there's no way of doing it from the ACP in phpBB (you can in IPB though). You'll be looking for a file called header.tpl or something similar.
