Hi there everyone,

Cpanel Username: q8elites

Main Domain: q8elites.x10hosting.com

Plan: Corporate

Sorry to bore you all with this thread as I am sure this is a common problem for newbies like me.

For now I have successfully installed phpbb on my new account. I searched all over the forum and found an old tutorial for implementing the ads into my forum through editing a file in the templates folder. I followed the steps and checked for errors more than a time. The problem is that the ads are still not showing on any of my forum's pages. Would anyone please help me set it up correctly?

Thanks in advance,

MoeXtr

Check you don't have ad blocking software installed.

You could always view the source in your browser and look for the code in your page.

Sorry for reopening the thread and for the late reply.

I still cant see the ads on my forum. I am certain I dont have any ad blocking software installed, besides I can view the banner ads on this forum and all other websites I visit. In Firefox v2.0.0.6 there is absolutely no ads showing anywhere on the page(I attached a screenshot). However, in Internet Explorer v6 there is a mere blank white banner with nothing in it. As for the Source Code, yes the javascript code for the ads is there.

Thanks again.

That is weird, as long as the ad code can be seen in the source code of your page you should be all set. And since I and another staff member can see the ads I really wouldn't worry about it.
