With free hosting also you can have your own domain. That's beauty of x10hosting.
Once you have your own domain. Post in Upgrades/Downgrades/Changes forum. Normal reason of this change not going is that you have not checked in your x10hosting cPanel that this is added as Add on or Parked domain.
