All IP logs are listed as 198.91.81.8

Similar to a problem with the IP deny manager not working, I'm getting another issue regarding accessing and IPs.

Mine and another user's IPs have shown as 198.91.81.8, I also saw a guest browsing one of the threads also using the same IP.

I also tested out by using a proxy server to browse the board and it also registered it as 198.91.81.8, even though the proxy is located in the UK and has nothing to do with x10Hosting...

I noticed this was happening yesterday, and my site, if three people used the same IP to log in or register, will deny any more new accounts from that IP - me and another user logged in and it logged us as that IP, so could pose a problem for the site.

Yes, the requests to the web server are coming from the server(s) in front of it (cache, load balancers, etc.). That's normal, and as it should be; it's only a "problem" insofar as you weren't aware of it. You can use the X_FORWARDED_FOR header to determine the IP of the user request.

there is a known issue right now - with free-hosting servers...
